From Product to Purchase: How We Brought the XOOT_Pro to Life with Video

We recently had the pleasure of working with XOOT, a Seattle-area company that has engineered something truly impressive for the digital art community: the XOOT_Pro, a precision arm system designed specifically for pen displays. When a product is this thoughtfully built, the content that represents it has to match that level of care. That's exactly what we set out to do.
This project encompassed social media content, website photography, and a product launch video: a full visual identity package designed to show the world exactly what makes the XOOT_Pro the benchmark for pen display mounts.
A Product Worth Showing Off

Before we could tell XOOT's story visually, we had to understand what makes it special. XOOT_Pro is an arm system designed specifically for pen displays tablets like the Wacom Cintiq, Huion Kamvas, and similar devices. Unlike generic monitor arms, the XOOT Pro is purpose-built: electromagnetic locking that responds to a touch strip, sliding feet designed like bike handlebars, a predetermined motion path for consistent positioning, heavy-duty steel construction, and a modular upgrade system that means the arm grows with you.
For professional digital artists, illustrators, 3D sculptors, and content creators, this is the kind of product that changes how they work every single day. Our job was to capture that transformation on camera.
What We Produced
Our work for XOOT spanned three interconnected deliverables, each serving a different part of their customer journey.
Product Launch Video
Perhaps the most critical piece of the content puzzle, the demo videos show the XOOT Pro in action. We captured each key feature: rotation, tilt adjustment, electromagnetic locking, keyboard clearance, sliding feet, and cable management… in a way that is easy to understand and genuinely interesting to watch. For a product whose value is felt as much as it is seen, demonstrating the motion in high quality video is essential to converting an interested visitor into a confident buyer.
Social Media Content
Short-form video content is where products earn attention or lose it. For XOOT's social media presence, we created concise, visually engaging clips that highlight the product's most compelling features, the fluid electromagnetic motion, the one-touch locking system, cable management, and the stability that gives artists the confidence to draw without wobble. Each clip was crafted to stop the scroll and communicate value quickly, whether on Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, or other platforms where digital art communities gather.
Website Photography
A product's website is its most important storefront. We produced a suite of clean, detail-oriented photography that showcases the XOOT Pro from multiple angles and in real studio environments. The goal was to make viewers feel the quality of the construction, the steel frame, the precision engineering, the thoughtful design choice, before they ever hold the product in their hands. These images serve across the site from the homepage down to individual product pages.
Our Approach: Letting the Engineering Speak
With hardware products, the risk is always making content that feels like a spec sheet brought to life, technically accurate but visually dull. We took the opposite approach. Every shot was designed around motion and feel, not just feature. We wanted viewers to sense the weight of the steel, the smoothness of the electromagnetic release, and the confidence of the locked position, all before they ever visit the checkout page.
We also paid close attention to context. XOOT Pro lives in creative work spaces — artist studios, home offices, production environments. The content reflects that. By setting up shots in realistic working environments and showing the arm being used naturally, we helped potential customers visualize XOOT in their own space.
